1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Jaba Planet ("we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of the Jaba Planet Business Manager application ("the App") available at biz.jaba-planet.workers.dev.
By creating an account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Description of Service
Jaba Planet is a cloud-based business management application that provides tools for:
- Recording and tracking daily business transactions
- Managing a custom service and pricing list
- Tracking pending payments and client debts
- Analysing business performance through reports and analytics
- Managing staff accounts and roles
- Generating receipts and exporting business data
The App is intended for use by small and medium business owners and their authorised staff members.
3. Account Registration
To use Jaba Planet, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete registration information
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the service.
4. Subscription Plans and Payments
Jaba Planet offers three service tiers:

Payment Terms
- Paid plans are billed monthly from the date of subscription activation
- Payments are processed securely through Paystack
- Subscriptions are valid for 31 days from the payment date
- We do not offer automatic recurring billing at this time — you must renew manually
- All prices are in Kenyan Shillings (KSh) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes
Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of the service, we do not offer refunds on subscription payments once a plan has been activated. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at jabazulma@gmail.com within 7 days of the charge.
Plan Downgrades
When a paid subscription expires, your account reverts to the Free tier. Your data is preserved. Features that require a paid plan will display an upgrade prompt until you renew.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Jaba Planet only for lawful business purposes. You must not:
- Use the App to record fraudulent, illegal, or fictitious transactions
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or exploit any part of the App
- Use the App to store or transmit malicious code
- Share your account credentials with unauthorised third parties
- Attempt to access another user's data without authorisation
- Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the service
- Use the App to conduct any activity that violates the laws of Kenya or any applicable jurisdiction
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
6. Staff Accounts
Business plan subscribers may invite staff members to access the App under their business account. As the account owner, you are responsible for:
- All actions taken by staff members under your account
- Ensuring staff members are aware of and comply with these Terms
- Revoking staff access promptly when employment ends
- The accuracy and legality of transactions recorded by your staff
Staff accounts are limited to the permissions defined by the owner. Staff cannot access Business Settings, edit the service list, or manage other staff members.
7. Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of all business data, transaction records, and content you enter into Jaba Planet. We do not claim any ownership rights over your data.
By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of all data you enter into the App. We are not responsible for errors in your business records.
8. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance
- Technical issues with our infrastructure or third-party services (Google Firebase)
- Factors beyond our reasonable control
We are not liable for any losses resulting from service unavailability. We recommend regularly exporting and backing up your data using the built-in backup feature.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jaba Planet shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the App
- Loss of data, revenue, or business resulting from service interruptions
- Errors or inaccuracies in reports or analytics generated by the App
- Unauthorised access to your account resulting from your failure to protect your credentials
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Intellectual Property
The Jaba Planet name, logo, application design, and all related software are the intellectual property of Jaba Planet. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of our service without our prior written consent.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us at jabazulma@gmail.com.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Fail to pay for a paid subscription
Upon termination, your access to the service ends immediately. Your data will be deleted within 30 days of account termination.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify existing users through an in-app notification. The effective date at the top will reflect the latest version.
Continued use of the App after changes are notified constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
